Crickets

Book Games has been very quiet lately. That's usually the time when Gary comes in and stirs the pot. Just a couple of notes from me this morning:

  • The number of wallets holding exactly 5 tokens has been trending up. On January 27th 948 wallets had 5 tokens. On February 9th it was 1,016. Today it is 1,054. On the VeeFriends Discord there seems to be some consensus around 5 being a good number of tokens to hold for one reason or another.

  • Even after my post about Pearl being an incredible value, it continues to be an incredible value. I think it shows how much players are reluctant to pay for rarity. Instead, the focus continues to be on buying the floor and getting as many chances to mint VeeFriends 2 as possible.

  • I'm here for the VeeFriends family first and foremost. What questions do you have about the statistics? Are there any aspects of the data you are curious about? Leave a comment and I might do a deep dive.

Have fun out there playing Book Games!

  1. I love everything you are posting. I love reading stats and using them to make decisions, but I am definitely not a statistician. So sometimes I can't see the bigger picture when it comes to outcomes. I wonder if you are noticing anything as you do these data sets that has led you to some future projections? For instance is lava going to become rare once Gary asks people to use them for burns? (Like today). Maybe a full flip of the rarity is possible with the games. And also are you able to keep track of what is burned fully even though some go to that zero wallet and are burned forever? I assume all of the burns will eventually go there. Long question short do you see some things coming that people might be surprised by as this all moves along? I am one of the 11 token wallets as of yesterday. So maybe I kicked the count for those to 200. I want to be a 15 ultimately, but not sure why. Maybe I am falling for the multiples of 5 thing :) Have a great day and thank you so much for all of this. It's really amazing.

    1. Thanks for reading. It's definitely possible that a currently common token becomes rare once many are burned. On the Spreadsheet (link is over on the right) you can see the Original and Current count for any combination. You can also see the status -- either temp burn or perm burn. I can only really look into the data, can't predict the future.

  2. Great work here. Love reading your updates and insight. I wonder if there's a method to look at the number of holders of the Specials and Champagnes. Maybe the Neon/Holos also or any of the rarer combos. For instance there's only 650 (less after burns) Champagnes. I wonder how many unique holders there are of those 650. I hold 3 Champagnes for instance. Are some accounts stockpiling rares? There could be some interesting trends in seeing unique holders if it shows whales are targeting specific cards.

    1. That's interesting. Might need to do some whale analysis...
